The Wartburg Wrestling Father–Son Adventure Camp is a unique weekend experience designed to bring fathers and sons together through wrestling, outdoor adventure, and meaningful time together. Held at the beautiful Ingawanis Adventure Base in Waverly, Iowa, the camp runs Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24, 2026 and is open to wrestlers ages 6–14.
Participants will spend the weekend learning from Wartburg Wrestling coaches, athletes, and alumni, representing one of the most successful programs in college wrestling history. Wartburg Wrestling has captured 17 NCAA Division III National Championships and produced 249 NCAA All-Americans, and campers will have the opportunity to learn fundamentals, technique, and mindset directly from those who have built that tradition.
Beyond the wrestling mat, the weekend includes a variety of outdoor adventures including archery, rifle and shotgun shooting, disc golf, STEM challenges, low and high ropes courses, tomahawk throwing, and a Sunday canoe/kayak float—creating an unforgettable weekend of learning, adventure, and father–son connection.
